The Arabic Language was included in part-I syllabus in 1994-1995 in Khadir Mohideen College Though the College was started 49 years ago, Arabic Language (part-I) was introduced only in 1994. Muslim Candidates from the surrounding places eagerly study it. As the Arabic language is an International language. The students who take Arabic as part-I language is benefited by it. They are able to understand the Quran and Islamic Science of Hadith and religion. It is very useful for those who go abroad. Part-I Arabic course is offered from the Bharathidasan University as a self-finance course.
The Institution has been taking necessary steps to get the approval and assistance. Arabic language is allotted to the three faculty candidates only (i.e - B.B.A. B.Com and B.Sc. Computer Science as a Part-I language. Other faculty students are also interested to study Arabic as part-I language. Even the evening College students also evince interest in Arabic. The Arabic Department plays an important role to motivate the Muslim students to become practicing Muslims.
